Hello and Welcome to the 2020 Website
of the Pevensey Bay Model Railway Club. Located in the village of Pevensey Bay, a mile east of Eastbourne in the UK on the sunny Sussex coast, the club boasts a friendly membership dealing in railways of all shapes and sizes. Every week there will be some model railway construction taking place but also a fair amount of talking about other rail related matters plus, of course, putting the world to rights!
The club was formed in 2010 and normally meets every Monday evening from 7pm to 9.30 pm at the Ethel Wood Community Hall, Coast Road, Pevensey Bay (see club diary for actual dates or variations). We also hold an annual exhibition each July which is always very popular and this year is at a new local and larger improved venue. UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE THESE MEETINGS ARE SUSPENDED TO COMPLY WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING. THIS MAY LAST INTO 2021. IN THE MEANTIME KEEP SAFE AND TAKE NO CHANCES.
Several layouts are under construction which include UK 00 gauge and UK N gauge using a mixture of both analogue and digital control. The progress of some of these layouts can be found in our club layout pages. You can also see how some of our members are progressing with their own layouts in the member's layouts pages.
If you are interested in joining our club, or simply want some advice, then come along to Ethel Wood Community Hall on a Monday evening. You can always contact us for more information.
