  • Update on Website

Since the website has been up and running-we are happy to see that we are getting many hits, not just from the U.K but from around the world! The website is relatively new and it takes time and effort to optimize the 'hidden' information behind the website to allow it to appear at the upper end of Search Listings. Finally we are starting to see these results and we are pretty much at the top of Googles Search engines already.

But, for more visitors to return and maybe think about joining our club we need to update the site with articles, exhibition listings, links and other interesting bits and bobs so if you have any news or stories you would like to add then simply let Ben know at the club meets or post them via email.

A new guestbook has been added with the hope that some of our visitors may sign it? However, for some reason it hasn't been successful and so maybe it may be better to remove the page in the near future? We will monitor and review within the next few weeks.

As of today we have had 6995 visitors. Some of these will be our own club members returning to the site on a regular basis but the website is set up to not add a visitor if it recognises your isp address from a previous visit.

One of the visitors to our site was logged in via Iraq! I can ony imagine it must be a soldier on a day off missing their model railway layout. If it is, we wish him/her well and hope they return home safely.
