Every 2 years there is an international model railway exhibition at the extensive (Koln-Messe) exhibition halls in Koln Germany.

This is a major event and the 2016 show held at the end of November attracted some exceptional layouts of all scales plus stands by most of the major firms in the model railway business.

Above are 43 photos which give just a small flavour of what was on show. In addition to the rail show there was a hall dedicated to LEGO which was really impressive (photo 44 flavour).
